Ingredients and preparation of the Apple pie:
300 g Wise Food Pie Flour Mix
20 g Wise Food 5xSweet Sweetener or 100 g sugar
2 eggs
50 g soft lactose-free butter or vegetable margarine
100 g of any vegetable seed milk
5 g any gluten-free flour for stretching
For filling:
4-5 apples
1 g cinnamon
5 g Wise Food 5xSweet Sweetener or 25 g sugar
Stir the flour mixture with Wise Food 5XSweet Sweetener or with sugar, crumble the mass with the margarine, add the milk, then knead it well together. Cover the bowl and place it in a refrigerator for 40 minutes. (Meanwhile we can make the filling. Grate the apples, then sweeten and season with cinnamon to taste. If there is too much apple juice, pour it o, not to soak the dough). After resting, knead the dough again on a floury surface, then halve it, and stretch from both parts a rectangle shape, to the size of a baking tray. This way we will have two dough sheets. Place one of the dough sheets in a baking paper lined baking tray, and bake it in a preheated oven to 180°C on top and bottom heat for 8 minutes. As soon as you took it from the oven, smooth the filling on the top of the dough, then loosely place the another dough sheet onto it. Prick the top of the pie with a fork, then grease it with egg yolks. Bake it again in a preheated oven to 180°C on top and bottom heat, for further 35 minutes.
